I recently tried Algenist Sublime Defense SPF 50, an ultra-lightweight UV protection fluid.
The sunscreen lotion is packaged in a small opaque but sturdy plastic bottle with a twist cap and a tiny spout. At first glance, it looks cheap, but it looks deceptive. As long as the product fair is good, I think we can ignore the boring packaging. It does have a strong medicinal smell, which will subside soon.
The UV protection fluid is milky white and has a water-like consistency, although it is a bit viscous, so it is aptly described as a fluid. Although its texture is a bit thick, it is sometimes a bit sticky when applied on my skin, but it does feel light and water-based liquid to me.
I am very used to gel texture or runny liquids, so applying it on my skin will definitely give me some strange and different experience, although it does not leave any oily sticky residue on my skin.
highly recommended! SPF50 but not greasy at all, it is very suitable for foundation. I like how easy it is to dispense without contaminating the entire bottle. It also smells great. If you have combination skin like me, this one is worth a try!
